EMBROIDERY INSPIRATION
This stitch color palette was created for my daisies pattern. The pattern was hand-drawn and of course, the color palette had to match the real-life daisies. If you feel like embroidering some daisies head over to the Daisies Embroidery. A very easy to stitch theme, and if you need a bit of help you can always follow my detailed tutorial.
DMC TO ANCHOR EMBROIDERY COLOR CONVERSION CHART
DMC and Anchor are the most commonly used brands of stranded cotton. They both have a wide variety of colors and are made of good-quality stranded cotton. The thread is comprised of six strands, which can be easily separated as you might want to stitch with less than 6 strands depending on your project. You can use both brands together for a project, for example, substitute one shade of DMC floss with ANCHOR floss, but please note that is not possible to provide a perfect color match between brands. The Daisies Color Palette uses the following shades of thread: Forest Green Light, Forest Green Medium, Forest Green Very Dark, White, Lemon Light, and Lemon Dark.
