EMBROIDERY INSPIRATION
As with most of the color inspiration here on Makenstitch, this is another color palette created for a particular project. The purple flowers featured in the French Knot Bouquet are a depiction of a beautiful lilacs bouquet, naturally stitched using a few shades of purple and a touch of blue. From hydrangeas, and azaleas, to lavender or even wisteria, you can adapt this color palette to most of the purple flowers we are blessed with. DMC TO ANCHOR FLOSS CONVERSION CHART
DMC and Anchor are the most commonly used brands of stranded cotton. Both brands provide good quality embroidery threads, but feel free to adapt these color suggestions to suit your preferred brand.
