Embroidery Inspiration

I created this color palette for the Forget me not project. Since the complementary color of blue is orange, for a harmonious result, I used a combination of yellow-orange and yellowish-green shades. If you need to substitute the green shades, choose a light green, otherwise, the blue flowers will get lost and will not properly stand out from the background. If you’d like to give this pattern a try you can download it from my Free Pattern Library. DMC To Anchor Floss Conversion Chart

DMC and Anchor are the most commonly used brands of stranded cotton. For the thistle project, I used the DMC brand, but feel free to adapt these color suggestions to suit your needs.
